BevNET Review: Hype’s “MFP Flavor” shot is a 2.5 oz. energy supplement that features a pleasant citrus berry like flavor. Like so many other shots, the fluid is pretty viscous and non-carbonated, which makes it an easy shot to consume quickly. It has a moderate amount of sweetness (from sugar and sucralose), a sweet and sour flavor, and a mild aftertaste. In terms of energy, it has definite kick, using a blend of caffeine, taurine, B vitamins, ginseng, guarana, and glucuronolactone to provide the product’s functionality. Packaging is clean and attractive, with a nicely designed front panel that looks more appealing to the eye than many other shots that are out there today. Plus, Hype is a name that feels like an energy product, but doesn’t have that aggressive or medicinal vibe that can often be off-putting. Overall, a well done entry from Hype.
