BevNET Review: Impulse is back and their flagship product is now Impulse Extreme. It's a mildly sweetened citrus flavored energy drink that has a light pink color to it. It drinks well, with an almost CSD-like taste that goes down easily. The only exception is a mild bite to the finish, which is really the only note of functionality to the taste. Packaging is colorful but a bit too busy. Also, we feel that they've put too much emphasis on the word "extreme" and not enough on the word "Impulse." Overall, a decent drink whose biggest strength is its flavor.
