The mango variety of INGO Cucumber Water follows in the footsteps of the company's two other flavors -- Lemon and Watermelon -- with its zero-calorie and sweetener-free formulation. However, it also brings a more enjoyable taste and improved packaging than what we previously saw in the other two varieties. On the taste front, the mango and cucumber flavor blend works surprisingly well. The light flavor of the cucumber is a nice contrast to the fruity mango. It’s a flavor pairing that we honestly can’t say we’ve ever had -- especially in a sugar-free format. INGO has done a really nice job of creating a flavor that’s smooth, flavorful and clean in finish. On the packaging front, we like the sleeker 16 oz. bottle that the product now uses. The design is simple and appealing, which seems appropriate for a product that’s zero calories and clear in color. However, we still wish that the cucumber water callout could be better connected to the individual flavor name (in this case the “Mango” that’s written in white on an orange backdrop). While we realize that the company is trying to establish this product as a mango flavor of cucumber water (rather than cucumber mango-flavored water), it’s something that might create hesitation when a consumer is trying to figure out what to pull from the cooler. Overall, we really like this flavor and where INGO seems to be heading.
