BevNET Review: Iron Energy definitely paid attention to putting quality ingredients into its Lemon Lime flavor. The company used crystalline fructose in this formulation rather than high fructose corn syrup. Like the Orange flavor, Lemon Lime also contains 3% juice which adds a natural flavor to the product. However, we think the packaging and brand could be improved to better appeal to the 15-25 male demographic. It's currently not clear as to what type of consumer will be attracted to this product. Fortunately for Iron Energy, the product on the inside of the can is very refreshing and appealing so consumers that do try the brand will likely become repeat buyers.Reviewed on: 3/21/2005

BevNET Review: Iron Energy is a great tasting orange soft drink with a full host of stimulant ingredients. Featuring real orange juice from concentrate, the beverage has a natural flavor to it. Like many energy drinks, Iron Energy contains caffeine, ginseng, taurine and full compliment of B vitamins. The graphic design on the can is bit old-fashioned given the target consumer and, as a result, is the biggest area of improvement for this product. Until then, we're not sure what this drink stands for -- something that is especially important in a category with as many products as the energy drink category currently has.Reviewed on: 3/21/2005
