Acai Berry - Decaff

The Acai Berry flavored variety of iShot is also the “decaffeinated” (more like “caffeine free”) variety of the lineup. While we don’t quite get the purpose of a caffeine free energy shot, they have, like other competing brands that feature a caffeine free offering, formulated the product to deliver B vitamins, antioxidants, and amino acids. What’s more notable about this product is the flavor, which is a huge step above what you’ll find in the “Original” variety. The acai berry flavor is quite pleasant, with a fruit flavor has just the right amount of tart and tang. Since we found this more enjoyable than the Original AND because we don’t fully believe in the viability of a decaffeinated energy shot, we think that they should consider making this a caffeinated flavor or using this for the Original. Otherwise, we really like the packaging, which has an eye-catching appearance thanks to its visual simplicity. The name iShot is straight and to the point, although being similar to the naming convention of Apple Computer might not be the best of strategies. Overall, a good product that would be a lot better if it had caffeine in it.
