In 1990's the founders of Egg Cream America developed their initial corporate mission - in simpler terms, to put the delicious fountain egg cream in a bottle for mass consumption. The beverage industry has been so impressed with our product development efforts that we have essentially defined within the industry a new beverage category, Dairy Based Carbonated Beverages. Yesterday's egg cream is today's dairy based carbonated beverage and we consider ourselves the next link in the continuing saga of egg cream. Our product line as currently comprised is broken down into three separate categories.

Diet Chocolate

BevNET Review: Diet Chocolate has been reformulated to use a blend of acesulfame potassium and sucralose to attempt to reduce the aftertaste. Boy, did it work! This product is quite better than the old version (we found a bottle to compare it to) and it's much closer to the original. The aftertaste is very minimal and the rich chocolate flavor definitely helps to hide it. Plus, we like the change in label over the old white style label -- it doesn't have as much of a "diet" look to it anymore. Overall, a vast improvement over the first version -- and definitely near the top of our list in terms of diet chocolate beverages.Reviewed on: 9/10/2003

Orange Dream

BevNET Review: Aside from the slightly scary bright orange color, this product is a relatively rich and creamy rendition of an orange cream soda. The flavor is sweet and quite tasty and unlike many other orange cream sodas, this product actually has milk and cream in it. The resulting beverage is much creamier than the other orange cream sodas. Definitely give it a try.Reviewed on: 1/17/2003

Vanilla

BevNET Review: Jeff's Vanilla Soda is a very rich and creamy fountain style soda. If you've ever had a vanilla soda or egg cream, you're in luck -- this is an exceptional product. Chocolate Dream

BevNET Review: We must commend the people at Jeff's for capturing the flavor of a New York egg cream in a bottle. It tastes just like the ones that we used to get at soda fountains. A little smaller, though. It has about 1/2 inch of chocolate at the bottom of the bottle, so you have to be very careful when drinking it. Not much else to say. Just a good old egg cream. BevNET Review: Jeff's Diet Vanilla Soda is a great low-carb addition to the Jeff's line. Like the other flavors in the Jeff's Soda line, this product is highly carbonated to try and mimic the style of an old-fashioned egg cream soda. Jeff's Diet Vanilla is no exception -- and the combination of the carbonation and vanilla flavoring almost perfectly mask any taste of the artificial sweeteners. BevNET Review: Jeff's Berry Dream is perhaps the most unnatural tasting flavor of the entire brand. If the pink "Pepto" color didn't tip you off, this product has a strawberry flavor to it. Unfortunately, strawberry flavor is one of those flavors that never tastes like the real thing. Instead, the product has an extremely sweet flavor that is only worsened by the use of the corn syrup and milk, which give it a thick consistency. Overall, it may be an OK novelty drink, but we'd rather that Jeff's sticks with what it does best -- old fashioned style sodas.Reviewed on: 1/17/2003

BevNET Review: Jeff's Coffee Dream Soda isn't exactly an egg cream, but rather a hybrid soda that's a mix of a chocolate soda and a coffee soda. The result is something that has the same great flavor that you'd expect from a quality coffee soda, but with a splash of sweet chocolate flavor. Overall, we like it, but the quality of the ingredients / formulation could perhaps be improved. The use of the corn syrup and some of the other ingredients leave it with a slightly syrupy consistency.Reviewed on: 1/17/2003

BevNET Review: While this flavor does taste quite good, it doesn't taste like a real root beer float. Instead, it tastes like a chocolate soda mixed with an egg cream. They probably should have called it a chocolate root beer soda....Maybe this wouldn't sell as well, who knows. Anyway, you can expect a rich and creamy chocolate flavor from this beverage as well as a sweet root beer finish. Overall, a pretty decent beverage that is worth a try if you enjoy chocolate or root beer beverages.Reviewed on: 1/3/2003
