BevNET Review: Nothing really needs to be said about this beverage. All the sugar and twice the caffeine. It doesn't really taste all that special, but it is a classic beverage. We never really could understand why they put all that caffeine in it. A semi-superior cola.

I miss Jolt Cola!

Late nights cramming for exams, writing program code for work or creating a website, Jolt Cola was the stuff of legend. All the sugar, twice the caffeine! An "In your face" beverage that kept a nation awake and alert. The stuff they offer now tastes just like everything else on the market and is pretty bland even with all the "Flavors". Sad. Jolt had personality. It tasted better than "New" Coke and almost as good as Pepsi. It had a kind of a peppery-sweet flavor that was distinct. The world needs more individuality. All the sugar, twice the caffeine. That said it all. I miss Jolt Cola.

Classic Caffeine Containing Carbonated Cola

Alright, sue me. The high rating is for the fact that this is a classic. The taste itself is a good, above average but not as superior to some of the big name colas out there. BUT, the fact they blended it with a bunch of caffeine makes it ground breaking considering it was released before any energy drink was really available. On a side note, another one of their drinks in the flavored line, Cherry Bomb is excellent. It tastes like Mtn Dew code red with all the caffeinated fuel to keep you wired. Unfortunately, it seems like the company is losing some buzz. Their products dont seem to have the popularity they once had. Its a shame because they really got things going when they released it. Nothing at the time was even in the same genre, but now it seems they are dwarfed by the competitors.

I like the taste much better than any other cola on the market. a bit on the strong side, but thats a good thing! a good coffee alternative for those late night missions.

Jolt: what other colas used to taste like; with a punch

Jolt Cola is a simple product: basically lots of caffeine and sugar. What is special about the product is that it tastes like the other colas USED to taste like before changing their sweeteners. In that sense, Jolt Cola has a truer cola taste. No gimmicks -- just a great cola taste with a punch.

jolt is a top notch soda, the cola is alright but the best is the clear grape that tastes like dimatapp, and the blue that tastes like ICEE, all are delicous

Coke 2 came out in 2002 but they took it away because everyone thought it sucked like crap but it doesn't if you liked coke 2 then you would like this.

it tastes alright, but it's just too fizzy for a cola. it's something you drink for the caffiene - incidentally it happens to be a cola.
