Jolt's back. This new packaging is brilliant, everything from the battery shaped can to the reclosable cap. This is something that all large energy drinks should have. Nothing about this can says "generic". With that said, I felt like I was drinking RC Cola. It was extremely flat and syrupy, with too much to drink, even with the cap. I feel no need to drink 24 oz of flat soda. Also, I really didn't get a great energy kick at all, but I never do. The innovative can wins out over the soda.
Gotta say, glad to have this back in my area. Miss the old logo, and the cola seems to be missing some of the carbonation too... Hmm... Anyhow, it's still got that incredible sugar/caffeine rush that gives addicts like myself the jitters - WOW! Wish the energy bar on the side always worked with these, that's a cool idea. Decent job, Jolt.
If you want to look like you have turetts syndrome(pardon the spelling), drink 2 cans of this jolt. See how fast you can type. See how many mistakes you made. Anyways, this stuff is delicious and for me has the right amount of carbonation. I can see how the lower amount of carbonation can turn off some people since it will taste flatter that coke, but for me i dont care to burp 5 times after every drink. i would like to try a diet version of this that has been Splenda-rized.
Jolt Cola has saved me many times...through high school, college and even in the work place. I seem to always wait until the last minute do that one important project, so when an "all nighter" is the only way to go, Jolt to the rescue.
They originally re-did the Jolt packaging in 20 oz plastic bottles. I mean Jolt is just a regular cola, with more caffeine, so theres really nothing new with this other than the packaging. This new packaging that was just released doesn't look very jolt-esque, and will probably deter and potential jolt fans. I think it will leave people going "WTF?".
