Made with cane sugar, this product has a nice light mouth feel and a sweet candy like lime flavor. And that’s clearly what they were going for – just a refreshing, sweet, and easy to drink CSD. On that regard, they’ve executed the drink quite well. There’s a mild amount of carbonation to the product (at least as far as Jones Soda products go) and the product is reminiscent of the Jones’ original mid-1990’s lineup. Packaging is clean and easy to understand, with the bright green color helping to whet the palate. The Spanish label is a nice point of differentiation and their funky photos fit the motif perfectly. It’s hard to say how successful this campaign will be, but it’s nice to see Jones taking a crack at a different segment of the market – especially when the execution is on point. Definitely worth a try.
