BevNET Review: What you’ve got here is a fruit punch flavored soda that’s sugar sweetened and has bright red coloring. Flavor-wise, the fruit punch flavor is actually rather mellow, despite the product have a somewhat high level of sweetness. When paired with the drink’s moderate level of carbonation, it all seems to work, resulting in something that’s very gulpable. However, the use of artificial flavors and preservatives seems somewhat counter to the drink’s “pure” cane sugar callout. Lastly, we wouldn’t mind a little less red coloring – it stains your mouth. However, that bright red liquid makes a nice complement to the black and white label, adding a bit of pop to the shelf presence of the product. The bilingual packaging is nice, but it seems like it could be incorporated into their main line rather than requiring its own line. Overall, an enjoyable product, but not the best of the bunch.
