Product Type: Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Container: 8 fl oz (237 ml) can
BevNET Review: There are some similarities between this product and its namesake: for example, they both taste like apples, and they are both likely to really hurt your teeth if you consume enough of them. But things pretty much end there. Caramel apples taste like caramel when you bite into them, and then you hit the apple. Here, the apple is there, and there’s a slight caramel scent, but then it’s just a little bit of a burnt sugar aftertaste. But with Jones’ novelty sodas, taste is only half the purpose, marketing buzz is the rest. These 8-oz. cans, obviously designed to be passed out to trick-or-treaters (don’t swing that bag, kids!) or for Halloween parties, certainly take care of the other half. As always, a slick move by Jones that has been thought through much more completely than the taste.
