Jones Energy Drink is a new product that Jones hopes will help them gain further penetration into the market -- especially in places where the name Whoop Ass is inappropriate.

BevNET Review: Jones Energy Orange is one of the best tasting carbonated energy drinks we have ever tried. This might be due to the fact that we love orange creamsicles as this is what the beverage tastes exactly like. Like the other 2 flavors in the Jones Energy line, this product is available nationwide in Target stores in 4-packs. The folks at Jones apparently don't subscribe to the theory that energy drinks need to taste medicinal. Lemon Lime tastes like an improved version of Sprite. BevNET Review: Sugar Free Jones Energy Drink is a new low calorie / carb energy drink that features a light, but sweet flavor. It is somewhat similar to the Low-Carb Monster Energy Drink that came out earlier this year but with a little less bite to it. This being said, we could definitely consume this product if we had to choose a low-carb energy drink. There is, however, a slightly medicinal / artificial sweetener finish that could be improved. The packaging works well when comparing it to the other Jones Energy 16oz energy drink and the image of the flames are appealing to the eye. Plus, we give them extra points for creating a can that won't leave you feeling embarrassed if you consume it in public. Overall, a good entry from Jones.Reviewed on: 3/18/2004

BevNET Review: Jones Energy is now available in a nice looking 16oz can. Unlike the rather generic can of the original Jones Energy, this product has a nicely branded package that looks a lot more like a Jones Soda product. It blends very nicely with the potent citrus flavor of this product, which definitely lives up to the statement of "Extra Strength Energy" that you'll find on the can. Maybe the world doesn't need another energy drink, but the category definitely needs more products like this. Great stuff.Reviewed on: 4/17/2003

BevNET Review: Jones Energy Drink is filled to the brim with energy supplements to help boost and recharge you. The flavor is a simple, yet brightly colored, concoction that resembles a citrus flavor. Like any energy drink, the large quantity of supplements gives it a bit of a rough finish, but it's not as strong as some of the other ones on the market. The simple white can is a departure from the bright cartoon brand that Whoop Ass has and it's much cleaner and feels slightly minimalist compared to the many bright silver energy drink cans that clutter the shelves.
