BevNET Review: Jones Energy is now available in a nice looking 16oz can. Unlike the rather generic can of the original Jones Energy, this product has a nicely branded package that looks a lot more like a Jones Soda product. It blends very nicely with the potent citrus flavor of this product, which definitely lives up to the statement of "Extra Strength Energy" that you'll find on the can. Maybe the world doesn't need another energy drink, but the category definitely needs more products like this. Great stuff.

This was by far the most perfect beverage ever crafted by human hands. Forged in Valhalla, brewed by Zeus, and poured into the cans by big tittied nymphs, Jones Energy is the Nectar that jesus will drink when he comes back.

I'm pretty sure that I've had better energy beverages. Mountain Dew's AMP Energy and the original SoBe Lizard bottle drinks come to mind. Jones Energy is a lot like a cheap brand of ice cream; it's not the best, but it still does the job. Not a great taste, but merely a good one. The steep price of one cold Red Bull has kept me from merely trying one to this day. That's right, I've NEVER had one. Price definitely matters to me. And for the price, Jones Energy is hard to beat.

This stuff disappointed in nearly every category it could do so in. Seeing that it was Jones brand, I expected something pleasant that would do its job. Instead, I got a 16 ounce can of something that tasted not unlike cheap beer, rotten apples, and vomit that have been sitting out in the sun for a week and pressed for the juice. The drink left me just as sluggish and tired as when I started it, and the awful aftertaste still lingers on my tongue. Sorry, but no. This stuff is awful.

Let me start off by saying I am a huge fan of Jones Soda products. Most of them are pure awesome. So I picked up a 4-pack of the 16 oz cans because it was less than $4. (what other energy drink is that cheap?) I was expecting a party in my mouth here, but instead it tastes like a rotting apple puked into the can after a bender. First few sips, I was like "Okay, this isn't bad. It's different" By the time I got 3/4 of the way done with it I just poured the rest down the sink and tossed the can. That is something I *NEVER* do with other energy drinks. Buyer beware...

Jones, makers of Pure Cane Soda, have put out a new energy drink titled simply Jones Energy. The can is simple, yet the "J" on the front really catches your eye. As the side of the can says, it is made to be affordable, and it is! Jones Energy is very clean, and uses a light berry-like finish to cover up a generic scent and flavor. Though inexpensive, there is nothing cheap about Jones. If others (Red Bull) put this much quality into their product, they would really have something special. As for Jones, keep up the hard work. Quality. Final Analysis:.....Quality.

Definitely my favorite energy drink. Taste great to me and gives big energy. I only wish it had sugar instead of syrup.
