BevNET Review: Supposedly made with four flavors of Jones Soda, Jones Jumble is a “mixed flavor soda.” While it’s hard to nail down what the exact flavors that make up the mix, we’re tasting some grape, melon, apple, and bubblegum. As far as Jones Soda flavors go, it’s actually pretty good, kind of like a modern take on the classic fruit punch flavor. It’s sweet, but not too sweet, with a decent amount of carbonation making this product have some effervescent pop. Our only issue with the product is the color of the liquid, which has an off putting grayish blue tone to it. On the outside, they’ve taken a Jones Soda bottle and given it a label that’s a full sleeve wrap. Available in three unique designs, the product has a funky but grass roots vibe to it. It’s a nice cousin to the style of Jones’ core soda lineup. Ultimately, this seems like the type of product that will appeal to Jones’ core consumers and consumers purchasing for novelty, but it doesn’t seem like something that will be a lasting part of the lineup. That’s okay by us – this product is enjoyable and fun – and it’s certainly more drinkable than some of their other funky line extensions (e.g. Sweat).Reviewed on: 7/8/2009
