BevNET Review: This beverage is from Pepsi, although "Pepsi-Cola" is nowhere to be found on the label of the bottle. It is their first attempt at a new product since Crystal-Pepsi, and Pepsi is obviously hoping that this product won't end up the same way. Josta is a made with guarana berries (that means that this stuff is packed with caffeine) and has a reddish color to it. The taste of Josta is hard to describe, but can be summed up in a couple of words: very sweet, berry, and highly carbonated. It almost resembles one of those carbonated fruit punch sodas that are sold in grocery stores. The BevNET! verdict: kids are more likely to enjoy this than adults, but give it a try anyway. With all of the hype surrounding this beverage, it is definitely worth your time ( & money) to try this beverage.

I loved Josta

Josta was a great brand back in the day, though I'm not convinced it would make it in today's heavy ladened energy drink market. Still, its distinct berry flavor will be missed. Bring it back if you have a heart Pepsi, but if not, I'll be content with Bawls and the great Josta Reborn recipe!

JOSTA is the key pepsi!!

This is one of the BEST beverages EVER and the key to the success of pepsi. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is 'cause I haven't had the pleasure of enjoying its taste in a very long time.

Bring back our Liquid Friend!!!

I wish that you could bring this drink back, (we know you can,) but why you don't is a mystery. I miss this drink so much like Mr Green, yeah those two were great. Please bring them back. The public demand is out there. We just haven't found an outlet...until now.

I have dreams of drinking this again

I loved this drink. The only thing that even slightly (I mean slightly) resembles the taste is BAWLS. I pray they bring this back before I get old and die.

Why did they get rid of the best thing?

Josta was the best ever. It was a fruity cola that was not too sweet.Not a boring everyday fruity flavor either, like orange or strawberry. One of the best things about it was a fruity drink that was as carbonated as coke. Most fruity sodas, like orange soda for example, seem to have little carbonation. They are almost creamy. Not josta. It had bite. Thats why it was the best. Why did they get rid of the best thing?

Josta May Be Gone, but it's Not Forgotten

Josta, for more people than you think, was the ultimate soft drink. Six years since its demise, this beverage still inspires web searches for it's name - and calls to Pepsi, asking them for a comeback. The unique Guarana flavor, combined with a berry base and a 'factor x,' made it drastically different than anything else on the soda market to date. Mourners of this long gone soda still exist in droves... We can only hope that the current sites running Save Josta campaigns can have their voices heard.

best pop ever

this pop is the best pop ever made in pop history its even better than my all time favorite(now) mountain dew there was no reason why josta should have been discontinued except the reason it had like 50 grams of sugar in it(a can)
