BevNET Review: This birch beer is truly a masterpiece. It uses tree-tapped Alaskan birch syrup, unrefined pure cane sugar, bark, herbs, berries, and spices to create an all natural and fresh brewed flavor. Borealis Birch Beer is a smooth, refreshing, and easy to drink birch beer. It does have a subtle bite (possibly from the spices and herbs), but it is not in any way overpowering or overdone. Plus, it is much lighter than most birch beers since it is not totally sweetened by syrups.

Rarely have I ever poured anything down the drain. This is one of the occasions. Having drank birch beer since early vhildhood, I cannot fathom how this sludge can be listed as birch beer. I'm hard pressed to come up with anything so . It's not overly sweet, it's not watered down, it's not anything but a horrid beverage.

Very good drink however had a slight acrid taste that I did not enjoy
