BevNET Review: We've always liked Kaboom and in its third rendition, the product finally feels complete. In past reviews we've raved about the flavor and the buzz that we received from this product. While this version has a slightly tweaked formulation, we didn't notice a difference. It's still fruity and sweet, but mellow and smooth at the same time, with a slight caffeine tinge in its finish. Using real fruit juice for flavoring and evaporated cane juice as the sweetener means that they didn't skimp on quality, either. Tropicool is an extremely drinkable product that is, in our opinion, the best tasting juice-energy hybrid on the market today. The biggest improvement is the packaging, which we've always felt was the most limiting part of this product. The new, beautifully designed 8 oz. can will finally alleviate this. The product is extremely appetizing and classy looking and, as a result, we have very high hopes for this technically sound product.

New formula not so great

I worked for the creator of the original Kaboom and used to know this product inside out. Recently, I saw a can of Tropicoool in my grocery store and put it in my basket for old times sake. I was extremely disappointed with the new formula. Not only is the mint missing (BOO), but the amount of guarana has decreased and I got NO buzz. This used to be my favorite drink (and flavor) but I will not be purchasing one anytime soon. I gave two stars only for product loyalty.

By far the best energy drink out there! Tropicool is great-tasting and I love the fact that it's made of all-organic ingredients -- none of those awful chemical additives in this can! I love the flavor and the sustained energy lift it gives me, without the jitters, headaches, or upset stomach those other ty much any other energy drink out there. I feel this product is in a class of it's own and I'll be a consumer for life!!

I can honestly say that I have had this much enthusiasm over a single energy beverage in my life. As someone who works 100 hours a week- I become ecstatic over a drink that is good for me and keep's me going. Forget Carbonation- which is never good for you. I have tried both Kaboom flavors: Orange Buzz and Tropicool- and both are absolutely fabulous! I'm the type that shops organic (Whole Foods) whenever possible, and I am totally excited over the fact that Kaboom uses organic ingredients. We all have had Red Bull/Vodka's out at the bar- but who actually like's the taste of Red Bull? or Monster? or any energy drink for that matter? Kaboom tastes just like juice- and you would never guess that it would give you energy for the entire day. I'm brainstorming now on all of the mixed drink possibilities: i.e. Kaboom/Vodka. Kaboom/Malibu Rum, Morning drinks: Bellini's, Mimosa's... with Kaboom- its endless.

tropicool kaboom is a fantastic energy drink. besides the great energy buzz, the taste is so good it's like drinking a fine exotic fruit juice. a 1st-timer would never guess this was an energy drink. also don't forget about the other kaboom flavor, orange buzz. http://www.bevnet.com/members/reviews/viewreviews.asp?product_id=1221 orange buzz seems to give me a slighty stronger energy boost, but tropicool tastes better in my opinion. either way, you really can't lose with kaboom. it's the best energy drink and you will see after you try it.

Upon tasting the mighty power of KaBoom Tropicool I became a full fledged KaBoomer. I've also changed my religion to KaBoomism. As a loyal follower of KaBoomism I have taken an oath to walk the earth speaking the KaBoom Gospel. I'm on a mission, I've got the fever. The only medicine for that fever is either more KaBoom or more Cow Bell Stuff tastes great!

Exotic Energy! What could be better?

These drinks are so hard to find, but they're worth it! They're usually only $1.85 where I get them. I can sip on one all day long and keep trucking along! I love these drinks! The Tropicoool is really good. You really can taste all the different fruit flavors that are put into it. All natural. Not too tangy or syrupy--doens't leave that funky glob in your throat like other lemon drinks. No carbonation either so you can drink them really fast if you need or want to. The ingredients do settle, so after you let some air in the bottle shake it up really well. No corn syrups, preservatives or harsh caffeine. Instead these drinks has guarana extract. Guarana contains guaranine which is similar to caffeine except that it is slowly absorbed into the body and provides a long steady flow of energy instead of the highs and crash and burn affects like caffeine. And it doesn't make you anxious or jittery like other energy drinks. I've tried guarana extract pills. They sure do work, but why take a pill when you can have a yummy drink with other great energy boosting vitamins. I am posting reviews to all flavors because I love them all and used to alternate flavors to keep it from getting old. I think the lemon razzz is my favorite, but everyone I know has a different favorite, but we all agree they are all good! Unfortunately I can't seem to find these drinks anymore. I sure wish a big store like Costco would carry these.

Really enjoy the taste of Tropicool KaBoom, which is more along the lines of real fruit juice as opposed to the thinly masked chemicals found in other products.

Great combo with the tropical fruit juices and the hint of spearmint. We put it in the blender with a banana for breakfast. Who needs the coffee crash and burn when KaBoom's energy stays with you? And it's loaded with vitamins and other great stuff.
