BevNET Review: Purple Roots & Fruits has flavors that are remniscent of many different juices. The product is a mixture of juices from many different fruits and vegetables, so the resulting taste has a very complex taste. The product has extracts from roots (purple carrot, beet, lettuce, spinach, watercress, parsley, and cabbage juices from concentrates) and fruit juices (Apple, Grape, Lemon, and Blueberry juices from concentrates) which gives the product its deep purple color and flavor. The juice is not nearly as sweet as a typical fruit juice but it is still more closely aligned a to a fruit juice profile than to a vegetable profile. It most resembles a grape juice flavor that has been combined with vegetable flavors. Overall, this is a good flavor that we think will find its niche among non-dieting health-conscious consumers.
