Grape

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 8 fl oz (240 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: Grape is our favorite flavor of the Kid Fuel lineup. The mild grape flavor is reasonably natural tasting, delivering the same level of mild flavor that you'll find across the line. Being a flavored water, we think it's OK that the product doesn't have any juice -- and the fact that they didn't use any coloring will likely be appreciated by parents. On the other hand, the product uses preservatives, which could hurt its credibility with certain consumers. The packaging is attractive, but we find the cartoon graphics at the top to be unnecessary, especially since they will not be recognizable to children. Overall though, this is a good tasting product with a functional, convenient, and, for the most part, attractive bottle.Reviewed on: 10/26/2007

Kiwi Strawberry

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 8 fl oz (240 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: As far as Kiwi Strawberry flavored drinks go, Kid Fuel has done a pretty good job with its kiwi strawberry flavored water. The main reason we say that is that the flavor is somewhat diluted compared with competing products, resulting in less emphasis on the quality of the actual flavor (kiwi and strawberry are hard flavors to pull off). Packaging is just like the others, delivering a label that has dual emphasis on the cartoon graphics (which we could live without) and fruit images. Overall, this flavor is definitely worth a try. Orange

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 8 fl oz (240 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: Kid Fuel's Orange was the first flavor that we evaluated. The product presents itself as a naturally flavored water beverage and delivers well on that message. The product features 50 calories and 13g of sugar per bottle, which makes it on par with competing products. The flavor is derived from natural flavorings and tastes like watered down juice (although there's no juice in the product). Our only concern is the use of preservatives, which could impact marketability. Packaging features a spill proof cap and a full wrap label that's reasonably attractive. We'd suggest presenting a cleaner less cluttered image by dropping the cartoon characters at the top of the label. Otherwise, it's one of the better tasting and looking products in the children's beverage category.Reviewed on: 10/26/2007

Raspberry

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 8 fl oz (240 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: The Raspberry flavor of Kid Fuel is the sweetest tasting flavor of the lineup (although it has the same amount of sugar and calories as the others). That being said, this very well might be the most popular flavor with kids -- although it tastes the least natural of the bunch. Either way, the product delivers added vitamin B, calcium, and biotin in an 8 oz spill proof bottle. It's nicer looking than some of its competitors that use stock bottles and, with the exception of the cluttered front panel of the label, the drink presents an attractive appearance that will appeal to kids and parents alike. Overall, a solid entry into the kids beverage category.Reviewed on: 10/26/2007
