BevNET Review: Kutztown Birch Beer is one of the best birch beers to ever come our way. Featuring a very clean flavor that is flavored with pure cane sugar, this product is not quite as creamy as a sarsaparilla or root beer, but it still has many many of the same qualities. Specifically, Kutztown has a very nice wintergreen flavor, which is usually only found in higher end beverages. Overall, a very clean flavor with a unique micro-style package design.

Fill a coffee mug with several big spoonfuls of vanilla ice cream and top it off with birch beer. Mix it all up a bit with a spoon and enjoy a really delightful dessert or a quick refresher on a hot afternoon. Root beer is good too, but the birch beer is special.

The taste of the dark birch beer is great but not the same old birch beer I remember every bottle I have purchased in the last few months has been flat as flat could be. please keep up with quality control,you have a good product

I found the Dark Birch Beer down here close to me in Tampa. I can not wait till I drive up north in a few weeks. I am planning on making a stop in Kutztown to pick up a few cases of the best birch beer I have tasted in over 30 years. To me it is worth the drive just for the Birch Beer.

the tast is graet,and the cost for it was great to. I normaly have to pay two dollers for a soda and this was the best price that i found in a store near me.

I went to college in Kutztown (class of 2000) and at that time we could get a case of soda in glass bottles; you paid like $10 or $15 dollars for the first case; but then that could be refilled for a ridiculously small price - which was GREAT for us poor college students! (and great for the environment - it encouraged you to return the empties to them to be refilled instead of just throwing them out) I don't know if they still do that, but I will always remember that great soda!

it's got good old-time flavor, due in large part, probably,to the use of sugar instead of corn syrup or other sugar substitutes. reminds me of the locally bottled birch beer i drank as a kid in altoona, pa.
