Product Type: Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 fl oz glass (473 ml)
BevNET Review: It has taken a while, but a mainstream brand has finally launched a white tea. Lipton's product, which is flavored with tangerines, is pretty light-bodied, with a modicum of sweetness. Using cane sugar and tangerine flavor in moderation, Lipton has done a surprisingly good job of creating a palatable product that doesn't destroy the delicate white tea flavor. The packaging is decent-looking, with a simple label that reminds us of Inko's White Tea. The pale gray writing could be darkened, but otherwise this is a pretty simple, innocuous package. Overall, a good mainstream effort by Lipton to capitalize on the growing white tea category.
