Lite Pom

BevNET Review: POM Wonderful’s approach to making a reduced calorie product is one that might seem less sexy, but it manages to deliver really good flavor. Specifically, they’ve diluted the product, reducing the “POM Juice” to 50 percent in all of the Lite POM flavors. The result is something that’s smoother, lighter in the mouth, and more refreshing than POM’s flagship products. They’ve also created several flavored varieties of Lite POM, although the differences between them are very subtle, so we’re just taking a look at this one (the rest would probably get the same star ratings anyway). Packaging is the same proprietary bottle that POM uses for their flagship line, with the only material difference being the addition of the word “LITE” on the front of the bottle. This approach is clean and intuitive, allowing the product to maintain the sophisticated and upscale image that it gets from the proprietary bottle.
