This variety of Love Beets starts with a base of organic beet juice, just like the brand's other varieties. From there, the company has added what it describes as a “hint of ginger,” despite ginger juice being labeled as 6 percent of the formulation. While it’s definitely more than a “hint,” the product isn’t really spicy. Instead, it adds some subtle heat that helps cut through the vegetal sweetness of the beets. At the finish, there’s a very mild citrus note, which is presumably from the added lemon juice. And that’s it. There are only three ingredients, but the product is loaded with flavor. It’s definitely our favorite of any of their offerings to date. Visually, it looks very similar to Love Beets' other varieties. While we are big fans of the Love Beets branding, there are a few small things we’d change about the label. First, there’s the yellow circle with white text that says “BEET JUICE.” This color combo is hard on the eyes. Next, there’s the callout for the flavor, which is really small to the point where it would be easy to miss. Coming up with a better design system for flavor variety names would definitely be helpful. All in all, this is a very nice addition to the Love Beets lineup.
