This flavor of Lumi juice is definitely one of the more unique flavors of the line, the cold-pressed juice category in general. It’s made with a cold-pressed and high pressure processed (HPP) blend of tomato, cucumber, carrots, celery, red pepper, lemon and sea salt. The two primary flavors of this formulation are the tomatoes and red pepper, the latter of which has a slightly assertive flavor. Fortunately, the cucumber and lemon help round it out, and it finishes up nicely with a slight dash of sea salt. For a product that is labeled as a gazpacho, we were definitely expecting a slightly more viscous and tomato heavy product (something closer to tomato puree). Nevertheless, what Lumi has created is quite refreshing, flavorful and enjoyable. And you don’t have to be a hard-core tomato lover to enjoy this product. In addition, we think that this is a nice alternative to the countless green juices that are out there today. Visually, this is arguably the best-looking flavor of the entire thing Lumi juice lineup. That’s due in part to the orange-ish color of the liquid being almost identical to the color used for the Lumi logo. Plus, we really like the polished look of their white label. It has a very cheerful and approachable look to it, which is a nice contrast to the seriousness that many of the juice cleanse brands currently have. Overall, big points for being creative and for solid execution of the product.
