Update Information for This Brand

Manufacturer's Brand Overview: [Edit]
Magnolia manufactures a line of all-natural, ready-to-drink, gourmet beverages that taste great and have health benefits. Our family of beverages includes four real-brewed from tea bags teas, including our award wininng Southern Style, Autumn Nectar, Splendiid Green and Unsweetened tea; Vanilla Lemonade and four exotic fruit nectars: Mango, Mango Passion, Mango Carrot and Guava.

Mango Passion Nectar

Product Type:Juice: Juice Drink; Container: 16 fl oz (473 ml) glass
BevNET Review: This is a tasty and sweet nectar and we definitely like the fact that the lady on the label seems to have gone a bit further “South of the Border” in her look – dangling earrings and fruit have replaced the jelly jar of tea, and Spanish translations accompany the nutrition facts. But we’re not sure how well it would sell side-by-side with the teas; it seems a bit schizophrenic for the company. Still, worth a try for nectar fans.

Southern Style Spice Tea

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 fl oz (473 ml) glass
BevNET Review: Great hints of clove and cinnamon mix beautifully with the sweet tea in this fine offering from Magnolia, which we could easily imagine being served up at our favorite restaurants south of the Mason-Dixon line. Don’t tell them it’s from Chicago! All-natural ingredients, evaporated cane juice sweetener, and above-average packaging make for a top-notch product.

Splendid Green Tea

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 fl oz (473 ml) glass
BevNET Review: This is a delicious variant on the regular magnolia spice tea, but there’s too much sweetness to call it “Low Carb,” and some folks might find that misleading. Otherwise, we’re still crazy about the packaging and we think a green tea is a fine idea for this line, and well executed. Still, gotta have a little care when you’re saying something isn’t fattening.

Unsweetened Spice Tea

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 fl oz (473 ml) glass
BevNET Review: We don’t even know why they put unsweetened on the label, because with the spice – sort of a cinnamon and clove reminiscent of Christmastime and cider – there’s a sweet tinge to this tasty tea. We think the spice and the lady on the label both speak to the Southern aspects of the product; the only issue here is whether consumers want to put spice and drink into the same sentence. If they try this, they just might.

Vanilla Lemonade 'Nilla-nade

Product Type:Juice: Juice Drink; Container: 16 fl oz (473 ml) glass
BevNET Review: This is a refreshing, not overly sweet bottled lemonade with a whiff of vanilla to give it a unique character. The evaporated cane juice gives it a clean finish while the vanilla adds body, but is ultimately overpowered by the pungency of the lemonade. It’s definitely a nice treat, and that’s packaging, which features a hat-wearing ingénue slurping tea from a jelly jar, is consistent with the product’s sophisticated Southern roots.
