BevNET Review: The seemingly simple combination of two unsweetened fruit flavors provides a strong, complex flavor that does a great job of cleansing the palate. Lemon and mint – two somewhat intense flavors – is a combination that will likely appeal to consumers who like mint, but need another flavor to cut it with. Lemon is a good choice, although it is probably the type of flavor that won’t really expand Metromint’s base too much. Still, it’s a well executed flavor that provides a very true-to-nature taste. Plus, the addition of yellow to the Metromint lineup (which previously featured only green and greenish blue) gives the brand a new, more diverse and eye-catching feeling. Overall, a well executed flavor, but not it’s not really a game changer for this brand.
