BevNET Review: As a product based on the idea that children will only drink milk if it’s sweetened beyond all recognition, this isn’t awful – it’s got lots of sweet vanilla flavor and only 16g of sugar per serving, an amount that’s actually less than most Yogurt. But there’s certainly not much here to actually remind you of milk; the Splenda and Ace-K blend leaves a chemical taste in your mouth and slight tingle, too. There’s no dairy aftertaste and very little milk flavor. And the long shelf life of the package is offset by a sharp edge on the plastic bottle that makes it a little uncomfortable to drink. There’s too much going on with the cow logo, which shows a sunglass-and-sandal wearing cow frozen in a block of ice holding a carton of ice cream. Not likely that the kids will be screaming for this one, but they might still like the ultra-sweet taste.
