Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 fl oz glass
BevNET Review: We like it in spite of itself. It’s got high fructose corn syrup, a potentially patronizing label with phrases like “we drink for balance and enlightenment…and wish all of our patrons a positive path in the long life of adventure.” But it’s sweet and lemony without being overly syrupy or pungent. Good if you like the sweet stuff. But we have no idea where the white tea came in -- we just couldn't taste it as the rest of the formula simply overpowers it.Reviewed on: 4/30/2006

+ Show Product ReviewRaspberry

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 fl oz glass
BevNET Review: This product once again shows us that sometimes the whole can be better than the ingredients. Despite a silly label that shows dragons holding raspberry branches and a formulation that has a mix of high-fructose corn syrup and sucrose, this is a flavorful tea that we’d likely drink again. Even the lingering raspberry isn’t too prickly upon first sip. Definitely worth a try for fans of conventional, flavored sweet teas.Reviewed on: 4/11/2006

+ Show Product ReviewPeach Potion

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 fl oz glass
BevNET Review: Yet another surprising score for Ming Tea. We can’t help but laugh at the dragons guarding the bowl of peaches on the silly label, but behind the label sits a sweet, substantial burst of peach and tea that we could have easily finished in a few gulps. This product has as mainstream a taste and composition as one could ask for, but it’s executed quite well. Definitely worth a try for flavored tea fans.Reviewed on: 4/11/2006

+ Show Product ReviewDiet Green Tea

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 fl oz glass
BevNET Review: Even though we know it’s a diet drink, this doesn’t do it for us. There’s just not much accurate green tea flavor here, so the entire product starts to taste like a medium for a litany of artificial sweeteners. Needs major work.Reviewed on: 4/30/2006

+ Show Product ReviewMint Leaf

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 fl oz glass
BevNET Review: Ming Tea takes a pretty big whiff on this one, as the mint smells and tastes less than pleasant. The overwhelming sweetness of high-fructose corn syrup provides an even more negative contrast to the smoky entrance of the mint taste. This product is way out of balance in its flavor profile. And the label, with those central-casting dragons and haiku script, just doesn't do it for us either. Overall, this product needs a lot of cleanup in both the flavor and design departments.Reviewed on: 4/30/2006
