BevNET Review: Assault is the latest addition to the Monster Energy Drink lineup. Encouraging consumers to "declare war on the ordinary", Assault comes in a distinct camoflauged package that is a first for the category. This dark-colored product has a noticeably more tart flavor than the other Monster varieties, but the base is similar to the original. Consumers that enjoy Monster will definitely enjoy this product. Assault's design is simply not as clean as the other Monster cans, and hopefully does not blend into the background of the cooler shelf. Ultimately, we prefer the original and sugar-free formulations over this one.

there all the same flavor but like they have an extra flavoring that makes them distinct and like it;s almost like they put normal green monster with cherry flavoring. but i love them even tho im allergic to it:3

I loved it, only because I like Jager-Bombers. Seriously, doesn't it have that "earthy" taste like Jagermeister? I think that without saying it, they wanted to imitate a non-alchololic version of the Jager-Bomber.

I'm not overly impressed with the Mountain Dew meets Red Bull meets Cherry Coke flavoring. If I'm half sleep and just need that quick burst of energy, I can gulp the entire can and just hope there's not a crazy after taste! But I believe I should be able to enjoy the drink and its benefits without trying NOT to taste it.

The worst energy drink ever

Despite its cool packaging, Monster Assault, with it's dreadful cola flavor, will leave you with horrible breath as well as brown teeth. Yuck!
