BevNET Review: Monster has been reformulated with an improved taste. Well, we did a side-by-side comparison of the new flavor and the old and we were quite impressed with the new taste. The new flavor is sweeter and the bitter/medicinal finish that we cited in the original formula is gone. This being said, we would definitely put Monster in the upper ranks of great tasting energy drinks. We are extremely happy that Monster made this change and think that it will improve their performance in the market. In addition, it's going to put increased pressure on other companies that still produce harsh tasting formulas.

Ewwwwww

i think that this energy drink is very very bad. My age is 53. I work in the sun all day and i count on energy drinks to keep me up. Then i decided to try monster i threw up 3 time all day.

awsome energydrink!

i love this energydrink! it has a little flavour of lime and then at the same time it's sweet. it is not godd for your body:( but just take 1 500 ml can every second day then its ok i'll think!:) it beats red bull and burn all that stuff. if tou want a good energydrink you should buy this! IT'S! AWSOME:)

Good but Deadly

The drink taste amazing, the energy is phenomenal, the only problem is its horribly unhealthy. For me, i can tell it causes heart problems,and makes me very jittery! But... its euphoric, if i was going to die, id want to die drinking monster. Its good, but can kill you!

I LOVE THIS DRINK IF U WANT A REAL ENERGY DRINK GET MONSTER NONE OF THOSE LIL SISSY DRINKS LIKE FULL THROTTLE OR RED BULL IS GONNA GET U AS FAR AS MONSTER ITS THE BEST IT GIVES U ENERGY NOW WHEN U NEED IT MOST ITS GOOD FOR WHEN U GO SK8 CUZ THERES NO CRASH BUT I ONLY RECOMEND 1 A DAY CUZ IF U DRING 2 MUCH U WILL GET SICK BUT OTHER THAN THAT ITS FREAKIN AMAZING!!!!!

Still medecinal I'm afraid

It's a big can. It's got all the usual 'big words' in the ingredients list. But the over-sugary/cheap sweetie flavour isn't strong enough to overcome the chemical flavours of the caffiene and amino-acid mix....it's weak. If you grew up in the 1980s in the UK, there was a particularly unpleasant liquid pennecillin given to kids with toncillitis. I can only assume the taste testers at Monster had happy memories of this medecine as that's pretty much what it tastes like- sugary with a vague cheap-sweetie flavour that doesn't mask the bitterness. That bad the last half of the can went down the sink....I'll stick with Relentless juice next time which actually tastes of something, and something pleasant at that.
