Strawberries! It tastes like strawberries! Actually Monster Energy's flavor would be most accurately described as a sweet mixed berry blend with pronounced strawberry accents. The green and black can throws u off though, making u think of citrus. But its not.
love monster, love the look of the can, love the taste. I've tried every energy drink available in my area, and some that aren't while traveling. monster is my favorite. not much for the ones mixed with juice tho.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE
for anyone out there looking for an energy drink that tastes good and is a good product DO NOT DRINK MONSTER!!!! This brand throws out a horrible image and is by far the worst energy drink on the market... I AM A FIRM BELIEVER IN THE ROCKSTAR WAY!!! DRINK ROCKSTAR NOT monster!!!
It tastes like green apple and bubble gum. It gave me a little energy right after i felt sick after drinking a 16oz can. I couldn't take big sips of it because i kept gagging on it.

The Ultimate
Like many of my fellow Senior BevNet members and energy drink enthusiasts alike, I demo any drink I can get my hands on. After all the years of juggling legendary drinks with market "quickies", I still remain loyal to the Monster name.
Monster Energy has produced one of the best tasting and more effective energy drinks to date. I consider this drink one of the best in the industry and is included in my top 5 drinks.
Yes this one is good too because it is the best. The ever first time i tried it i felt as though i had a ton of energy also i loved it it tasted like soda with power.
I am sorry to the "Monster Marks" who feel as though this is the greatest energy drink on the market. Unfortunately, there is nothing fantastic or amazing about this product. It gives a minute (small) boost of energy at the most, but that's based on the size. It is a generic drink, and just a sugary form of rockstar. I really got tired of it half-way through, it should come in the bullet can. The Monster expansions are better, and you should try them instead of this. However, if you like the same thing and crave blending in with a crowd, here's your drink.
Monster Energy was the first energy drink I'd ever tasted, and I've always liked it. The only problem is the colossal amount of sugar and how sweet the drink is. It does have a big energy boost, but it can be a little too much at times and makes me very trembly. The dize and power is what led me to try Red Bull and now that is my typical energy drink, but I still get Monsters now and then.
