5 stars this is awesome tasting, massive quantity per dollar, ridiculously high concentration of caffine per ounce, this is my most often consumed drink.
The regular 16 oz. is too small the 32. oz. BFC is too expensive. The XXL is the perfect ballance. This is the greatest drink of all time besides the khaos xxl,which is equally good. The energy level, if you drink it down at the pace as I do (10-20 minutes for the 24 oz. can) then the energy level is decent. I don't really get hyper when I drink energy drinks. You can't really find the XXL at grocery stores but you can get them at gas stations, thats where I get mine. Overall, better value than the BFC, and more of the good stuff than the 16 oz. overall i give it a 5 out of 5.
it's, uh, Monster but bigger. this is good for mixing drinks at parties because there's a lot more. it's too much Monster for me though, this is a can to last all day XD
This is the best drink ever. EVER. there so good i spend my own money on them, (im 14, money is hard to come by). drink monster. the only prob with them is that the xxl's dont have the cool caps!
Let me start by saying that I'm the type of guy who needs 4 cups of coffee in the morning or else it isn't worth the effort; anything less than 4 cups and I'm still groggy. I buy Red Bull 4-packs as a quick pick-me-up. I'm a fast drinker, so quantity isn't a problem for me.
Yesterday I had a Monster Energy XXL at around 5pm and I ended up sleeping less than 2 hours. Of course, I went and bought another in the morning to help me get through the day after not getting much sleep.
Even with 2 hours of sleep, I don't have the after-lunch sleepiness like usual. I am sad the XXL can says it's a limited-time offer. If energy drinks don't do much for you, this is your solution!
I don't understand why this stuff is sold everywhere
They must rely on people to get confused with how many energy drinks there are and forget how it tastes, because it's awful. It's sickening sweet in a bad way. I like sweet drinks, but this really needs some citric acid sourness or bitterness to even it out. The flavor does absolutely nothing for me, and is not unique among it's many look-alikes. Upon inspection of the ingredients, it has not high fructose corn syrup, but sucrose, glucose, and way down on the list, sucralose (splenda). Thay may explain the odd sweetness of this drink. It starts off a bit citrusy, but finishes very sweet. As for putting glucose in? I think it's really dextrose, which is technically D-glucose, but they want to confuse us to think it's healthy. One thing I will commend them on, is the 'M' die-stamped through the can tab. This is very innovative and the first time I've seen anyone do this.
A few months ago, I decided to grab a four pack of Monster since it was on sale at my local Safeway.
I was on an energy drink kick for a month, so I was trying all sorts of various energy drinks. My favorites ended up being Sobe Adrenaline and Mountain Dew’s Amp.
I popped open a can of Monster and took a sip… Repugnant is the best word to describe it. Obviously, everybody has different pallets, so this is just my opinion.
I absolutely love sweet drinks and even with coffee, tea, etc I will go crazy with regular sugar. I do not know if it is the type of sweetener Monster uses that made me gag, but it was not a pleasant experience. Perhaps it was too sweet. For something to be considered to sweet for me personally takes a lot.
Many have compared the taste of Monster to Willy Wonka’s "Bottle Caps" candy, but I have to disagree. I will scarf a whole tube of those candies and enjoy every second of it. The pleasure the Bottle Caps provide is nowhere to be seen here with Monster.
Three cans of Monster have remained in my fridge for the past few months completely untouched.
So if you have never tried it then give it a shot. With all the competition out there for energy drinks, it is always fun to experiment.
I was wondering if you would send me some stuff to wear around my high school because mostly everyone in my school loves monster but i would like to get it more known in my school so that would be tight if you could send me some stuff!!!
