BevNET Review: Nitrous Monster “Super Dry” is a dry-but-sweet lemon/lime-flavored energy drink that'’s packaged in a resealable can. Since the water is carbonated and 'nitrogenated,' opening the closure results in a pop sound that’s similar to what you’ll find when opening a bottle of champagne. It also gives the product a uniquely creamy feeling in your mouth – like a cross between bubbles and foam. From an energy point of view, it gets the job done, packing a punch of caffeine, taurine, ginseng, guarana, yerba mate, insoitol, and maltodextrin . Packaging is a slim 12 oz. can which, as previously mentioned, has a resealable top that comes with shrink-wrapped plastic over the top. The front panel of the product has no mention of the flavoring, instead relying on the consumer to deduce that green means lemon lime. That’s a minor grievance, especially since what’'s inside the can is a very enjoyable and innovative experience.
