BevNET Review: Mountain Dew LiveWire is an "orange ignited" flavor of Mountain Dew. Essentially, the product tastes like your typical orange soda. Aside from the Mountain Dew label and the use of caffeine, this product doesn't really feel or taste like a Mountain Dew product. So is it worth a try? Well, yes, if you feel the need to purchase a Pepsi product, it's definitely among the less offensive tasting. Nothing special, but not offensive either.

This is THE BEST!

Livewire is by far my favorite! Alot of my buds say Code Red is on top, but it can never beat Livewire! Plus Livewire is made with real orange juice to give it a nice natural, refreshing and energising taste.

My Favorite Dew

Orange Dew is my favorite flavor, but since I live in an area controlled by Buffalo Rock Pepsi, who has some kind of deal with Sunkisk and the Devil apparantly. I have to bring some back when I visit Ohio. I'm drinking my last can now and hopefully will be able to find some around Panama City, Florida. Enjoy it daily if you're able to. Peace

best of the new dews

I don't like regular mountain dew all the time and livewire is my favorite of the new ones. Hope they don't quit making it as I will have to go back to other brands.

Fantastic

LiveWire is excellent. It's essentially high grade orange soda with the same crisp taste of Mountain Dew. A great alternative when your taste buds start dulling to regular Dew.

Awesome taste

Wow... I was really surprised when I first drank Livewire. It was great. It doesn't beat Sunkist, but this gets really really close. It taste sort of like you accidentaly put too much water in that orange Kool-Aid you were making, but you'll drink it anyway. Its really good, compared to some orange drinks. But this is something you wouldn't expect from a brand like Mountain Dew.

Best Orange Pop Ever!

Judging this product solely against other products in the same genre, i.e. Orange Sodas, LiveWire gets 5 Stars, clearly being the best of them all! It has a Energizing taste of Orange that just no other Orange Soda I have tasted can replicate. This could come from the fact that REAL ORANGE JUICE is used in the ingredients. Yep, that's right, check the label. This product is superior and I'm so glad to see it as a permanent addition to the Mountain Dew Family. Now all we need is an AMP variation of it...
