Naked Juice Probiotic

BevNET Review: Naked Juice's Tropical Probiotics is a 100% juice smoothie made with a five juice blend (mango, apple, orange, banana, and pineapple) and no added sweeteners. It's a sweet drinking product that we found to be quite enjoyable. More notable though is the addition of a probiotic (bifidobacterium) and a prebiotic, which are intended to aid with digestive and immune health. We're not going to evaluate the efficacy of this cocktail, but we do question how well this will sell in the US marketplace. Specifically, this is really the first mainstream (if you can call it that) effort to sell probiotics in beverage form, and we're just not sure that they've done enough to make it appealing. Regardless, we like the taste of the product and its 10 oz packaging. If they've got the budget to promote the benefits of probiotics to the mainstream, this drink might have a shot.Reviewed on: 9/18/2007
