BevNET Review: Why Naked Juice is releasing a 100 percent pomegranate juice well after pomegranate juice hit its peak, we not quite sure. In terms of flavor, it's exactly what we'd expect from pasteurized pomegranate juice -- tart, sweet, and slightly bitter at the finish. The result is, according to Naked, the equivalent of eating 4 and 1/3 pomegranates, although the connection to antioxidant benefits is loosely described on the back panel. On the packaging front, this is a standard issue Naked Juice product, and the biggest risk is simply blending in with the countless other flavors that are part of this brand. Overall, it's decent technical execution, but a really late entry to the category.
