BevNET Review: Naked Juice’s Chai Spiced Cider is one of the simpler Naked Juice introductions that we’ve seen in a while. It’s made with three ingredients: apple juice, apple puree, and natural flavors, resulting in a very natural tasting apple flavor that tastes fresh and delicious. The chai spice gives the product an extra dimension of flavor, with notes of cinnamon and clove being the spices that we can distinguish from the mix. Spiced apple juice is a decent concept, albeit a niche one, and we certainly could not imagine ourselves consuming this product on a regular basis. That’s especially the case when you consider that each bottle has 240 calories. Packaging is just okay for us, with a lot of stuff covering the front panel of the standard Naked Juice bottle. They’ve put images of apples, cinnamon sticks, and ginger on the front, but it’s jumbled in such a way that you’d be hard pressed to pick out these elements if you were quickly scanning a cooler. And at this point, there are so many Naked Juice flavors that it would be quite hard to pick this flavor out of the lineup. Overall, Naked has done something clever with the flavor, but they haven’t carried this over to the look of the product.
