Packaged in grab-and-go 15-ounce bottles, convenient 32-ounce multi-serve size and 64-ounce gable-top refrigerated cartons; the organic line will be widely available in convenience stores and supermarkets, as well as natural foods stores. Nantucket Nectars Organic is raising the bar and setting new standards for great tasting organic juice. The organic line will hit stores May 2004. Nantucket Nectars launches its organic line at a time when a record number of Americans are adding organic products to their diet. Forty percent of the U.S. population buys organic products, and the numbers are growing (Organic Consumer Trends 2001, Natural Marketing Institute).

BevNET Review: Banana Mango Carrot is a great beverage. The flavor is refreshing and features a nice mixture of mango, carrot, and banana flavors. This flavor actually feels a lot more like a smoothie than a juice cocktail as the banana gives the beverage a body that is slightly thick in comparison to the others. However, it's not as thick as what we'd see from an Odwalla or Naked Juice beverage, so this is definitely a nice alternative for those consumers looking for something a little lighter. Blueberry Banana

BevNET Review: Blueberry Banana is the most unique flavor of the Nantucket Nectars Organic brand. It offers a flavor that you won't find in many other juice brands. Blueberry Banana is a refreshing creation that features a tart, sweet body that has a natural fruit flavor. In addition, the organic banana puree adds a light flavor to the finish. Overall, this is a nice hybrid of a juice cocktail and a smoothie which will definitely give you a reason to come back to the Nantucket Nectars Organic brand.Reviewed on: 5/6/2004

Concord Grape

BevNET Review: Organic Concord Grape is a refreshing beverage that offers an old-fashioned style grape juice flavor. It uses a 20% juice blend of grape and pear juices which give the product a somewhat light but sweet body. The organic ingredients are definitely a plus -- as is the wholesome looking packaging. Our only hesitation is the nature of a grape flavor itself -- it's definitely a niche flavor as far as beverages go. Cranberry Orange

BevNET Review: Nantucket Nectars Organic Cranberry Orange is a good beverage, but the flavor doesn't taste much better than the traditional 17.5 ounce line. The organic ingredients and the new packaging definitely make it have a higher quality appearance, but the flavor could be more unique than a straight up Cranberry Orange. However, this flavor will likely sell well as it is so similar to the original line -- so consumers won't be afraid to try this flavor. In addition, we really like the packaging -- it's one of the first times we've seen a product go to plastic bottles and actually give it a more premium feeling.Reviewed on: 5/6/2004

Very Raspberry

BevNET Review: Very Raspberry is actually one of the better raspberry flavored juice cocktails we have had in recent memory. The flavor is definitely on the sweet side, but it definitely maintains a natural tasting raspberry flavor so the sweetness is not an issue. In addition, the body of this beverage is very clean and surprisingly balanced -- it tastes extremely natural and really has the essence of fresh raspberries.
