Product Type: Energy: Regular; Container: 8fl oz can
BevNET Review: Although Nestle Milo claims to be a chocolate malt flavored beverage, you'll definitely notice a resemblance to another chocolate beverage -- Yoo-Hoo. This product, however, is slightly more mellow and is fortified with several vitamins, making it a "nutritional energy drink." The only thing that Nestle Milo has in common with other energy drinks on the market is the 8oz can -- but we still find it quite refreshing. Definitely worth a try.

NEEDS AGGRESSIVE MARKETING
5 stars5 stars5 stars5 stars5 stars

Excellent "supplement" before and/or after workout.Has about half the nutrition as Carnation Breakfast.Milo needs to be marketed in the U.S. more aggressively and sold at a reasonable price (@ 80 cents/can).Most other "energy" drinks are stimulants, beings that energy for humans is measured by Kcalories which are found in food sources. The small, thin 8 ounce ready to drink can is convenient and just like a one-a-day vitamin is the right size to be a supplement, not a replacement for wholesome foods.

OH Milo...

About 6 years ago I discovered this stuff one morning in a gas station on my way to school. I hadn't seen it anywhere else, and was attracted to the anomolous look of the can with funny tennis player jumping out like he just got pushed off a building... nobody jumps like that. Like in those IQ test questions, "Which one does not belong?" the answer was Milo. I was plesantly surprized after I took my first sip; smooth, chocolatey, but not too sweet, it had a substantial quality to it unlike yoohoo and other chocolate drinks I'd tried. Most Similar comparison I can make would be to Ovaltine or a meal shake. Needless to say a Milo every morning on the way to school became my routine. Anyways, so after I gradutate highschool I come back to this place for my precious Milo only to find onwership of the gas station has changed. and they don't carry it any longer. ***K! So several months later I'm at this little bodega and I make my way to the fridge section with Milo on my mind and sure enough there she blows! Turns out they even sold tins of Milo powdered drink mix! I would never be without Milo again! I guess Milo has a big Latin following because I've found it in almost every obscure bodega I've been to, but like nowhere else. I went to Milo's website and it's all Australian, it's huge there and the surrounding islands. They've got Milo energy bars, Milo cereal, and I forget what else. Bottom line if you are joansing for some Milo go to your local LAtiN GroCERy StoRE

Chocolate Milk.

Well, I guess this drink would be good for people who really dig on chocolate milk. I mean, there was a slight variation in taste from regular chocolate milk, but for good reason. First and foremost it's an energy drink, but this drink has gotten very little exposure in the U.S., and definately will not survive. I thought the can design was comical, if anything at all, and I'm surprised Nestle did something this different.

Milo is the worlds greatest beverage

I first discorvered Milo in a 99 cent store late last year. Then in the corner of my eye i see a guy on a can playing soccer. It was world. I then bought the drink with my freind BIG MATT. He was the only believer in Milo. Then when we first drank the Milo on a corner in Ny the feeling was mutual. Me and Matt agreed Milo is the greatest thing ever created. Now i have all of the people i know like Jewish Mike, Gagliards, and Wakisto, enjoying Milo. So in conclusion if you never have tried Milo you must try it or else you are doing yourself a great injustice.

good drink

I have been drinking Milo since I was a kid. In the Philippines, its been one of the staple choco drinks, besides Ovaltine and Sustagen. I'm glad that finally Nestle brought Milo to the U.S. It's really good both for kids and adults. Better drink this rather than Yoo-Hoo.
