Nitro2Go, Inc. is a California based company, established in the mid 1990's, which started by manufacturing dietary supplements, and have expanded their supplement line to nineteen products and have become the best selling dietary supplement line in the Southern California C-store marketplace. Approximately two years ago, using their extensive dietary supplement expertise, Nitro2Go formulated the Nitro2Go High Energy drink line, featuring an original and a low-carb version in 16 oz sizes. Since then they have expanded the drink line with three aditions. Nitro2Go realized that they not only needed to manufacture a product that worked great but also tasted great. 		Instant Energy Category: Energy: Shot; Packaging: 2 fl oz BevNET Review: We've seen a lot of energy products in our day that claim instant energy, but fail to deliver. So, when seeing 2Nitro2Go's "Instant Energy," we were certainly curious to see how it would work. Using a sugar free formulation that's loaded with B vitamins and a decent hit of caffeine, the product delivered a nice boost of energy, even when consuming only half of the product's 2 fl oz package. We didn't feel the "niacin flush" that's listed on the side of the bottle, but we don't think that is an overly important function of the drink. Taste is medicinal, but bearable, and has a slight note of berry and artificial sweetener to it. Packaging has a busy look and text is hard to read (small font size and warped wrap labeling), but the bold "INSTANT ENERGY" is prominent and catches the eye. 		Nitro 2 Go High Octane Energy Formula Category: Energy: Regular; Packaging: 16 oz and 8.4 oz can BevNET Review: Nitro 2 Go is a potent energy drink that has a flavor that has a general style that is similar to red bull. However, there's less of a medicinal flavor and more of the citrus-berry flavor. Overall, the flavor is one that our panel had no problem consuming. While we typically do not comment on whether these products do or do not increase energy, we would be more likely to trust products from a company like this than some of the other random startups. 		Nitro 2 Go High Octane Energy Formula Lite Category: Energy: Regular; Packaging: 16 oz and 8.4 oz BevNET Review: Nitro2Go Lite features a light and refreshing flavor that is quite impressive given the low level of carbs. In addition, this product could easily be mistaken for a full-carb energy drink as the blend of sucralose and sugars help hide the use of artificial sweeteners. Overall, we really like the flavor of this product and would place it among the top in low-carb energy drinks. The only question is if the packaging will be perceived as a specialty nutrition product or if it will be able to break into the mainstream.
