BevNET Review: Speaking strictly from a flavor point of this, this product isn't bad, sharing a lot more in common with a juice drink than an energy drink. There's a lot to the flavor makeup of this drink, including raspberry, pomegranate, and yerba mate, giving it a nice bite to the finish. The energy cocktail consists of naturally derived caffeine from yerba mate, green tea and guarana giving the drink 75mg of caffeine per serving. Overall, it's a sweet and enjoyable flavor with a moderate amount of punch. The outside of the can leaves something to be desired however. The attempt to be clean and polished leaves the drink lacking personality and pop, especially with a logo that looks like something out of the periodic table of elements. BevNET Review: The Passionate Orange flavor of OE Energy Drink is better than its Berry Fusion counterpart -- at least in terms of flavor. The tropical flavor has depth and a more natural taste on the tongue, which works nicely with the added tea and yerba mate. On the other hand, we really don't like the name of the drink, which borders on sounding like some sort of love drink. Furthermore, with all the different text elements running vertically and horizontally it's a bit disheveled looking. Overall, nice taste, but we don't think that this product has the right looks to appeal to a consumer who is overwhelmed with options.Reviewed on: 12/6/2007
