a surprising unique treat instead of a gimmick for a change
I was skeptical about this when I tried it, then when I tried it it had Christmas time written all over it. It seems like something I would've had for my childhood, only in my more cynical adult days. My tastes changed as I got older, I never actually used to like that "spice drop" taste, but now I kinda do..especially when you add carbonation and pepsi. I don't feel it makes it sweeter, I think it actually takes the sweet-edge or original pepsi off a bit and gives it a more mature, hearty flavor. I really wish they didn't abandon this while other genuine gimmicky hype products return year after year.
First off I am sorely disappointed in the description of this product. It seems to have been written by someone that has no sense of taste.
Now, as a child I grew up with Coca Cola never really could stand the taste of it. Then when we moved into the country where Pepsi was prevalent I grew a strong desire to drink more Pepsi! I love Pepsi even here in Texas I will go out of my way to get Pepsi if it isn't available in the store.
Now, Pepsi Spice comes along for a holiday taste. I must say my first can was unique. I wasn't sure what to think of it, the second can was better, and by the third can I was hooked. I wish Pepsi would bring it back every Christmas Season. One thing of note though on certain batches of regular Pepsi for about two years following the trial run you could taste a hint of the cloves and cinnamon in a regular can of Pepsi.
To bad that Pepsi doesn't keep a good thing going, similar to Pepsi Clear. Then again I guess you could say the same about Coca-Cola's OK Soda.
When this was put on the market, I bought it on a whim. I have always loved Pepsi over Coke. I absolutely love(d) it. I'm so disappointed that the Pepsi-Cola company hasn't put it back on the market, even for the holidays. It had something special that just reminded you of Christmas. It's not the same at holiday time without it. Hey, the powers that be at Pepsi-Cola, BRING IT ON BACK!!!

I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!!!
This is one of the best drinks ever. I wasn't able to find it last Holiday Season and was really disappointed. I really hope they have it this year. I love the red color and the kick. Bring it back!!
I loved this stuff when it first came out. I even kept an empty can so I'd remember the name. Why the hell didn't they have it out the last 2 holiday seasons??
We loved it!! PLEASE bring it back, even if just for the holiday season! Very good, even my kids liked it! (and made great cocktails for the adults too!) PLEASE! BRING IT BACK!! Thanks you!
I really liked this stuff when it appeared two years ago and am hoping that it makes the rounds again (unlike last year, when I failed to locate it). Being a "Coke" person, I was loath to admit that Pepsi could also "mix," i.e. with chocolate syrup, vanilla syrup, etc. But this was GREAT! The spices added something that was both festive and yummy and the only reason I knocked off a half-star is because it contained HFCS. I really hope Pepsi doesn't play Scrooge again this year--please bring it back!

It just ain't Christmas with out my Holiday Spice.
I loved Holiday Spice Pepsi. I'm actually mildly allergic to cinnamon and still drank the stuff like it was going out of style... which apparently it was. I feel like even though it was only out for one season Christmas just wasn't the same the next year and won't be ever again. With the holidays coming up I wish they'd re-release it. Pleas bring my Holiday Spice Pepsi back to me!
I saw this product at my local Walgreens one night. Decided to give a try because it was something new. It was simply the worst drink I have ever tasted in my life. I took one sip, almost barfed, then asked the clerk if I could have my money back. He actually warned me before I bought it and said it was terrible. Thank god for that, because he did let me pick something else out. It just way too spicy and has a very bad medicinal taste. Just avoid at all costs.
I have been a Pepsi consumer for years! I've tried every line of Pepsi I could get my hands on. Then one day, this line came out. A co-worker and I tried it. It was very medicine-like carbination, with a slight spice to it. It was an experiment gone awry. Stick to the original. It's what makes you successful.
I always try new stuff (especially Pepsi), and when I saw this out last year; I just had to try it. The lil bit of ginger and cinnamon gives it a subtle holiday flavor. I recommend everybody to try it. My favorite saying is "Don't knock it; till ya try it"!
Oh Lordy, I want this drink sooo bad. But its one of those "seasonal" drinks. Man, come Christmas, I'll stock up on these for sure. One of my top 5 Pepsi's of all time.
that special warm chirstmas feeling in a liquid form
I tried this stuff about a month before christmas and i was blown away. I think pepsi did this flavor major justice. To me it tastes exactly what you would think christmas would taste like. I bought Holiday Spice every morning on my way to work. This product is also a great mixer or chaser with almost all liquor drinks.
The logo is another feat for pepsi -well sort of- it reminds me of their graphics from when pepsi was knee-high to a grasshopper. The vintage drawin portriat of Santa clause was one of the most impressive things about the lable. the color scheme was a good idea as well. They didnt go with a traditional Red and green of christmass but rather a darker shade of red and a dark blue. which in my eyes represents the holidays alot better. the red symbolizes the family warmth and happiness of the holidays and the dark blue represents the night sky of winter -when most holiday cheer is shared-
I recomend this beverage to anyone with an interest in pleaseing their tastebuds.
I've been snatching this up every time I gas up my car. The spices aren't as obtrusive to the taste as one might expect, and I find it to be just the right level of sweetness. Definitely give it a try before the holidays are over.
