Mediterranean Fiesta

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Diet; Container: 16.9 fl oz
BevNET Review: We have really mixed feelings about this product and the Tava brand as a whole. One the one hand, Mediterranean Fiesta actually drinks pretty well, providing a relatively natural level of sweetness, minimal aftertaste, and a pleasant black cherry flavor. On the other hand, it seems like the same old same old for Pepsi, complete with molded PET bottle, lots and lots of text, and a rather sterile appearance. We don't think they're going to fool anyone with the fancy name, especially since all of the other stuff on the front panel basically undermines their efforts to give the drink some personality (via the name and web site). All in all, it's just another CSD for Pepsi that will likely join the ranks of Pepsi Jazz and other niche extensions that they've attempted. Overall, solid flavor execution, but nothing revolutionary.Reviewed on: 2/22/2008

Brazillian Samba

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Diet; Container: 16.9 fl oz
BevNET Review: Pepsi has created a decent flavor in Brazilian Samba, but the product doesn't exactly jump out at us. The product, which is a fortified CSD flavored with passion fruit and lime flavors, has a pretty good tropical style flavor. And for being a zero calorie product, it actually presents a clean and crisp flavor that certainly stands up to competing diet CSDs. Again, it's really the product's packaging and branding that leave something to be desired. They've used a slim 16.9 oz PET bottle, but otherwise, it feels like any other Pepsi product out there. Tahitian Tamure

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Diet; Container: 16.9 fl oz
BevNET Review: Billed as the "tropical berry blend" of the brand, Tahitian Tamure isn't as exotic as it sounds. The drink's taste is that of a mellow berry flavor and, unlike the other flavors, the presence of artificial sweetener is noticeable. That being said, we weren't overly impressed with this flavor of Tava. Plus, it has the same looking exterior as the others, making this our least favorite of the lineup.Reviewed on: 2/21/2008
