Review: Peach Mango

Posted: Aug 11, 2006 at 12:00 AM (Last Updated: Aug 15, 2006 at 11:35 AM)
We know it's supposed to be a functional beverage, but Peach Mango is actually a great tasting mid-calorie juice as well. The peach and mango flavors are quite well done, and you'll know that as soon as the aroma hits your nose. There's a slight "fuzzy" taste to the peach and the mango has just the right amount of sweetness. The result is an extremely drinkable product that has a lot of potential when you factor in the functional side of the formula. The packaging -- which is not for everyone -- is an attempt to create a hip urban product. This is a marked departure from the conservative Elliott's Amazing line that was previously created by the manufacturer. While we can't say if the target demographic will buy into a brand called Phat Phruit, we can say that this is a technically sound product that offers a lot more than "me too" inside its bottle.
