The Playboy brand is certainly a good one to slap on an energy drink, especially since the crossover in demographic is likely to be high. Then again, this probably would have been much better a few years ago, when having an energy drink was itself a novelty. They've improved upon the packaging since our initial look (no more shrink wrapped can) and it tastes better than we remember. There's still a decent dose of bubblegum and "energy" flavor to it, but the sweet flavor is overall and enjoyable one. However, the novelty factor is still our biggest issue with this product, especially given the use of a formulation that's similar to so many other drinks that are already out there. An upscale -- or at least different -- approach to what's inside the can would probably give this product more room to run.
