BevNET Review: As far as RTD coffee entries go, this is an impressive tasting and designed product. Inside the bottle you've got a POMx (POM's patent pending antioxidant extract from pomegranates) enhanced blend of high quality brewed coffee (Rainforest Alliance Certified), milk, and cane sugar. The flavor is executed perfectly, offering balance of coffee and milk flavors (just like Café au Lait should be), while a touch of sugar adds a slight note of sweet to the finish. And, for the health conscious, the drink has 170 calories, 3g of fat, and 29g of carbs per bottle -- so not too bad compared to the category. On the outside, they've used a proprietary 10.5 oz plastic bottle that's shaped like an oblong globe, with a carefully applied shrink wrap label. The front panel is extremely clean, although in this case we wonder if consumers will have the same reaction we did to the use of the POM logo ("Is there pomegranate juice in this thing?"), which might be helped by a little more explanation on the front panel. Overall, a refreshing take on iced coffee that's been perfectly executed.

Recently while visiting California I bought the "Cafe au Lait" at Gelson's Market. It was delicious! Unfortunately after returning hime (the South) I can't find the product anywhere. Does anyone know where I can order it by mail? Thanks!

Taste doesn't match the price

For a $4 10.5 oz flask of iced coffee, this beverage leaves a lot to be desired. I can taste the strong coffee flavor when I first take a sip of this beverage, but immediately afterwards it is overpowered by a strange bitter medicinal aftertaste. Maybe it's the antioxidants, I don't know. Whatever it is, it is not pleasant. This particular flavor also has very little cream, so those who like strong coffee with a smidge of milk may enjoy this, assuming you can tolerate (or maybe even like) the aftertaste. Personally, I prefer the sweet creamy bottled Frappucino's that Starbucks makes (even though I dislike Starbuck's store made iced coffees). I haven't tried the chocolate flavor yet, but so far I'm not impressed.
