POPwater is a fruit-flavored sparkling beverage that contains 30 calories and comes packaged in an 11.2 oz. aluminum bottle. From a taste perspective, the product has a very pleasant apple flavor and is sweetened with a blend of sugar, erythritol and stevia. The sweetener blend gives the apple flavoring a rather natural level of sweetness and helps keep the aftertaste to a tolerable level. While it's called POP “Water,” the product definitely drinks somewhat similar to a soda. There's not really anything wrong with that; it's just that the flavor of the product is a bit more bold than what one might typically expect from a flavored water (even if it's sparkling). Regardless, it's a nice tasting product, especially as far as products with similar calorie profiles are concerned. The packaging is probably the most standout part of the product. We think the company has done a really nice job with the metal bottle, giving it a modern and cool look that's minimalist and easy on the eyes. However, using a bottle that is shaped like a soda bottle definitely feels like a gamble in terms of the product seeming too much like soda and not enough like water. Overall, we very much enjoyed the flavor of this product, and the packaging could definitely lure us in again.
