BevNET Review: The Original Blue variety of Power Trip has gone through a bit of a makeover since its initial release and the product's new 16 oz. packaging is much more attractive than the first version. Still, the word "BLUE" is rather big and, in our opinion, is a bit irrelevant when it comes to the overall purpose/value of this product (blue coloring doesn't add energy, last time we checked). The flavor is pleasant, with a sweet berry citrus mixture used to flavor the product. The biggest negative of this product is the intense blue color that stains your mouth -- something we can live without and we think some consumers will avoid. Overall, above average flavor and decent packaging that would be much improved if there were a little less blue #1.
