Review: Potion #10

Project Juice’s “Potion #10” is a ten-ingredient, cold-pressed raw juice that blends pear, pineapple, cucumber, kale, romaine, spinach, parsley, turmeric, ginger and lime. The flavor of this product is sweet, green and spicy in its finish, with a nice balance between all of the flavors. The balance is key to the drink’s success; it otherwise might seem like it’s simply trying to do too much in one bottle. Fortunately, Project Juice really nailed the formulation and it is, at least in our opinion, the most gulpable product that we sampled in this brand (we could probably drink two of these in one sitting). Perhaps the only thing that would make us like this product more would be if it had a longer shelf life. Right now, it’s not high pressure processed, which means that it’s perishable in a matter of days. On the outside, the packaging is clean and attractive, although it feels like there’s some unfinished business when it comes to the lower portion of the bottle. Fine tuning things could certainly take this product to the next level. In the meantime, this is a great start, with amazing flavor inside the bottle and packaging that’s up there with the best of the category.
