BevNET Review: The second flavor is a citrus-tropical fruit blend that features a 25% juice base. Like its counterpart, this variety is light and fruity, with a clean finish to the natural tasting body. However, unlike the Pomegranate Raspberry, this variety has no caffeine and a less traditional mixture of functional ingredients. While this results in a better taste, it also feels less functional, both in terms of taste and look. We could easily mistake this for a mid calorie or reduced sugar juice product rather than one that is intended to have a functional attributes. A simple change in label (we'd suggest something without the white backdrop) would likely resolve this problem. Overall, technically good on the inside, but needs a little help on the outside.

BevNET Review: The first flavor sampled from Purity Organic's "Be Well" line is Pomegranate Raspberry. This flavor has a very light level of sweetness that's on par with Honest Tea's "Honest Ade" line. Its cranberry-like flavor is very easy on the palate and can easily be consumed very quickly, providing refreshment that won't bog you down with excessive sugars or calories. As for the functional side of this USDA Organic product, it features a relatively standard ingredient set, including guarana, green tea, grape seed extract, and a cocktail of B vitamins. Overall, the adult flavor will definitely satisfy the consumer who is in search of a lighter juice product. However, we're not sure if they've marketed the functional side strong enough. After all, it is so similar to Purity's juice lineup that consumers might have trouble discerning the two. Still, a great effort that has a lot of potential.
